Dental Hygienists
Binh
Registered Dental Hygienist
Binh was born and raised in Vietnam, and she’s bilingual. She’s always loved taking good care of her teeth and became a dental hygienist to help others do the same. Her favorite part of the job is helping people and improving their smiles.
In her free time, Binh enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, biking, hiking, and going to the beach and park. Her favorite quote is, “Everything has beauty, but not everyone can see.”
Sarah
Registered Dental Hygienist
Sarah is from the area and feels lucky to live and work here. She enjoys meeting so many different people who quickly become lifelong friends and helps soothe dental anxiety by creating a calm, lighthearted, and pain-free visit each time.
Outside of the office, Sarah and her family like to spend time outdoors, and one of her bucket list items includes backpacking for a month. A fun fact? Her favorite quote is, “Laughter is medicine.”
Breanna
Registered Dental Hygienist
Breanna grew up in San Diego, CA, and knew she wanted to be a dental hygienist since high school. Her favorite parts of the job include removing calculus, seeing the results, and helping patients become more healthy.
In her free time, Breanna loves spending time with her family, going to the park or on walks, gardening, and making vegan/plant-based recipes. A fun fact? She’s been donating blood regularly since she was 18 and has donated over 5 gallons of her O-blood type.
Andrea
Registered Dental Hygienist
I was born and raised in Central Point, Oregon. I first wanted to be in dentistry when I worked for my Orthodontist the summer before my Sophomore year. After that summer, I was hooked. When I graduated from High school, I knew I wanted to be a hygienist since I always had a great experience with the dental office and loved getting my teeth cleaned. I moved to the coast in 2000 from Central Point, Oregon.
I live in Reedsport with Pat and our two kids, Nick, 20, and Addie, 8. When not working, we love to go camping, fishing, watching movies, playing games, and I love to read. Fun fact: I also ride motorcycles long distance and ride for Mile Monsters Inc. That helps boys who have DMD to live their best life. I rode the Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge with my mom. It was so much fun, and I am planning on doing it again in 2024. One of my favorite quotes is, “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” Eleanor Roosevelt

Office Manager
I have been the office manager at Above Dental since 2009. I do my best at keeping the day-to-day operations running smoothly. I love working with talented, compassionate professionals. My favorite parts of my job are meeting new people and catching up with regular patients. It is my personal goal to make each person feel welcomed as part of our dental family. Everyone here is fun, friendly, and down to earth. Dr. Johnson, Dr. Ong, and Dr. Ahn are wonderful people to work with. I live about an hour away, in Camas Valley, with my husband, near our two grown children and our five grandchildren. On my days off I enjoy family dinners, hiking, quilting and fishing. Life is too short to not smile EVERYDAY. It’s our job to help you smile, too.

My name is Michelle and I joined the Above Dental team in early 2015. I love getting to know our patients, the opportunity to keep learning, and working with our amazing team. I’ve grown up here on the Oregon Coast and in my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, reading, and being outdoors as much possible.
Dani

Dani always had a curiosity and interest in dentistry and wanted to work at a place that genuinely cares and supports the community. She enjoys helping patients transform their smiles and then loves seeing their newfound confidence shine through.
When not working, Dani keeps herself busy as a 4-H leader, helping youth in our community learn with their equine partners. She also enjoys camping, traveling, and exploring the outdoors with her son. Her favorite quote is “There is no failure except in no longer trying” by Elbert Hubbard.
Paige
Front Desk
Paige was born and raised in Coos County, and always had an interest in the dental field. She loves making people feel more confident and better about themselves everyday.
When not working at Above Dental, she enjoys spending her time with her dogs and friends and family. She loves doing outdoor activities such as hunting and fishing and going to the beach.
Cassandra
Front Desk
Cassandra was born and raised in Coos County and always wanted to work in an office setting. She loves being around so many amazing people each day, helping make a difference in our community’s lives through dentistry.
When not working at Above Dental, Cassandra enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and Corgi, visiting beaches, gardening, and crafting.

Heather
Dental Assistant
Heather is from Coos Bay and loves caring for our patients at Above Dental. She has a unique memory for names and personal details, making each visit feel like visiting a friend.
In her spare time, Heather enjoys spending time with family, camping, taking road trips, doing yard work, and crafting. Her hero and inspiration is her dad, who overcame so much yet always remained positive.
Wendy
Dental Assistant
Wendy was born and raised in Southern California and chose dentistry because she loves helping people. One of her favorite parts of being a dental assistant is the opportunity to build relationships with our patients and team.
In her free time, Wendy likes to spend time with family, and her bucket list includes a vacation to Italy. The best quote she’s ever heard? “When life gives you lemons, grab salt and tequila.”
Christy
Dental Assistant
Christy, a caring dental assistant in Coos County for over 20 years. Over half of that time has been with Above Dental. Originally, she was trained on the job which helped her decide to continue a career in dentistry. Being a part of a great team and helping patients feel comfortable is what she enjoys about work.
Christy was born in Coos Bay, moved away at age 7, traveled with her Coast Guard family, graduated from Ketchikan, AK and then returned to Coos bay. She feels fortunate to live in such a beautiful area with her husband and 2 boys. When Christy is not assisting, she likes to be outdoors camping, hiking, riding her horse, gardening and spending time with family. Christy has a love for animals too.

Jenna
Dental Assistant
Jenna has always loved people’s smiles and wanted to join the dental field for as long as she can remember. One of her favorite parts of the job is helping nervous or scared patients feel at ease and comfortable at Above Dental.
In her free time, Jenna loves to cook and bake, hike, and take her young son to new experiences. She’d love an adventure herself, and her bucket list includes going on a Nordic European adventure.
Deborah
Sterilization Tech
Deborah is our sterilization technician at Above Dental and helps keep our office safe. She combines her great organizational skills and love for learning to help on the backend of the practice.
Outside of work, Deborah’s interests include getting tattoos. One of the best quotes she’s ever heard is, “If we cease to believe in love, then why would we want to live?”
Becca
Dental Assistant
My name is Becca. I was born and raised in the area. I graduated locally, and I have been with Above Dental as an assistant since January 2017.
I volunteered for their first Free Dental Day, and loved the atmosphere, and being able to help so many people. From that day on, I knew that I wanted to be in dentistry. I enjoy bringing peace and comfort to my patients during their visits in our office, as they bring joy to me. Being able to help and give relief is my favorite part of the job.
On my time off, I enjoy going to the beach with my daughter, and have family BBQ’s.
Angel
Dental Assistant
Angel is from the small town of Myrtle Point. She chose to work in dentistry because it allows her to meet new people. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and being on the river with her two dogs. Angel’s favorite quote is “Just keep swimming.”

Hi there, I’m Erik. I’m doing our social media, website, and other cool things. Working at Above Dental is an absolute joy; all of my coworkers are fantastic, and the doctors are fun to work with and for. On my days off, I’m probably either fishing, playing my Xbox/couch day, looking up exciting cooking recipes, and/or working in/around the house.
